This page exists because that is the dominant event here. Each profile shows a bartender's rates, the areas they serve, and the kind of work they do, and you can filter and message before you invite anyone — the platform doesn't staff your event for you, you choose who to bring on. Every bartender must pass Government-ID identity verification through Stripe Identity to be paid through bartendersNow™. We do not conduct background checks.
Can a bartender work with our building's COI and load-in rules?
Yes — it's a normal part of a workplace booking. Share the certificate-of-insurance requirement, the load-in window, and the facilities contact inside the request, so the bartender arrives ready for the lobby, the dock, and the badge desk.
Do you offer dry or low-ABV bar service for office events?
Yes. Many Silicon Valley events run beer-and-wine, low-ABV, or fully zero-proof, and the Stock List sizes a non-alcoholic menu the same way it sizes a full bar. Ingredient quantities carry a safety buffer of up to 10%.
How many bartenders do we need for a weeknight office reception?
It depends on the headcount, the hours, and how front-loaded arrivals are — a launch party where the whole floor shows up at once needs more hands in the first hour than a trickle-in mixer. Is RBS certification required at a corporate venue in Silicon Valley?
Hotels, licensed event spaces, and some corporate campuses can be licensed premises, where California's rules apply. Here is how RBS works and what the platform does and does not check. California's Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) rules apply to alcohol servers at ABC-licensed premises, and certification is valid for three years. Private events at unlicensed locations are generally outside that requirement, but your venue or caterer may have its own rules — check with them. RBS is not required to join bartendersNow™. Bartenders upload their own certification details to their profile, and you can filter for it. We do not verify certifications. Bartenders are independently responsible for complying with California law on serving minors and visibly intoxicated guests.
