- Ingredient-level shopping list with package-size optimization and a safety buffer of up to 10% on ingredient quantities. It works out when a 1.75L bottle costs less than two 750ml bottles.
- Smart Staffing Calculator
- The Smart Staffing Calculator recommends a bartender count from your guest count, service hours, beverage menu, and event type. Above 75 guests it recommends at least two. Every input is shown, so you can see how the number was reached.
- Transparent cost breakdown
- Bartender rate + optional add-ons + the 12% platform fee, itemized before you commit. Cards are saved at booking, not charged up front.
- Captain Service
- Optional lead bartender for larger events who manages the team and your point-of-contact. Coordination fees disclosed upfront, never tipped against you.
- Verified reviews
- Reviews are tied to confirmed bookings. No drive-by ratings.
- Identity verification
- Every bartender must pass Government-ID identity verification through Stripe Identity to be paid through bartendersNow™. We do not conduct background checks.
For bartenders

- Set your rates
- Hourly, guest, mileage, and any add-on services you choose to offer. You control all of it, and nobody bids on your behalf.
- Browse events that fit
- Filter by date, location, event type, and pay. Request the ones you want; ignore the rest.
- Captain Service tier
- Lead larger events for additional compensation. Set your captain fee as a flat rate or percentage; both are honored.
- Smart Travel Economics
- Mileage is priced into events that qualify, so the drive is part of what you are paid for.
- Stripe-powered payouts
- Direct deposit through Stripe after the event and your post-service tasks. Tax resources are available in the app.
