What You Are Responsible For:
- Local licensing requirements for alcohol service
- State certification where required for professional service

- Income reporting and record keeping — you report your income whether or not a Form 1099-K is issued to you
What Shapes Your Revenue:

Professional Financial Management:
- Form 1099-K: if your settled payouts pass the federal reporting thresholds for a calendar year, Midnight Logic, Inc. issues you a Form 1099-K. Most bartenders will not pass them, and no form is issued below them. See Tax Preparation Tips for the thresholds and what the form covers.
- How you get it: Stripe prepares and delivers our tax forms. With your consent to electronic delivery it appears in your Stripe Express dashboard by January 31 following each tax year; otherwise it is mailed to you.
- Your own mileage log: keep it yourself. A travel charge you bill through the platform is revenue to you; the cost of driving those miles is a separate expense you track. We do not track your mileage for you.
